Preteen member leagues provide youth cheerleading programs which abide by rules set down by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) except as modified by local conference rules.
Our cheerleaders are divided into the following age divisions for 2011:

League age is defined as the age the child is as of July 31st of the current year.
There are no try-outs and all girls registering are rostered on a team. Cheerleaders perform every Sunday during football season, August through November. They will also participate in the Preteen Cheerleading Competition. The Preteen Cheerleading Competition is the culmination of the cheerleading season. Cheerleading squads from all member organizations will compete against each other for the right to be called “Champions”. The 2010 Competition has not been scheduled yet. More information will be available as the competition gets closer.
The Preteen cheerleading programs emphasize on fun, structure, teamwork & sportsmanship. All of our volunteers offer their time, dedication and knowledge to allow our cheerleaders to experience a positive, competitive season.
